Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has set up a new 1,000-seater centre in Singapore to focus on clients in banking and financial services space, the company said in a statement today.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has set up a new 1,000-seater centre in Singapore to focus on clients in banking and financial services space, the company said in a statement today.

The Singapore Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Centre will provide a range of application development, digital and IT services to global banks in the Asia Pacific region. This development will help company improve its revenue further from the BFS sector. Curently, TCS earns around 40% of its revenues from BFS Sector. The new centre will replace company’s existing 500-seater center that it opened up in 2011.

The new facility will also help those Indian banks and financial institutions who have operations in Singapore.

The centre will now offer a broader range of services, with a major focus on digital offerings.
