Microsoft boosts Windows 10 security through biometric sign-in feature

Microsoft will introduce a new automatic bio-metric sign-in feature in its upcoming Windows 10 operating system. This new feature will be available across all devices where Windows 10 OS will be installed.

The feature has been named Windows Hello.

This feature will allow users to sign-in to device through facial detection, iris of their eye and fingerprint sensor.

Microsoft says that the users’ biometric data will be stored on the device and it will be kept anonymous, helping personal data remain in the safe vault to prevent it from hackers.
